About Hallde

Hallde started in 1941 when Ernst Hall created the butter portioner, this machine produced pieces of butter that were soft and were easy to spread. On top of those qualities, the butter portions it produced also looked good and appeared bigger than what was available. Those were crucial factors back then because of the rationing during wartime.
